Before the conference, take 2–3 minutes to make sure everything works smoothly on your device. On this page you’ll:

  • Play a test Vimeo video
  • Confirm you can join Slack
  • Check your Zoom setup

If something isn't working, you’ll find quick fixes below, or you email us and we’ll be happy to help.

1) Can you watch this video?

Press play. Make sure you can hear audio.

If the video won’t play:

  • Try Chrome or Edge (latest version), or update your browser.
  • Disable aggressive ad-blockers or privacy extensions for button2025.com and vimeo.com.
  • If you’re on a work network, a firewall might block Vimeo. Try a personal network or hotspot, or ask IT to allow player.vimeo.com.

2) Will you be able to join the Button Slack?

That’s where announcements, Q&A, and help can be found. It's also where the whole Button community comes together during the event.

Tip: Use the desktop app if you can. It’s more reliable than the browser for long days.


3) Is Zoom ready on your device?

The live broadcasts stream on this site, but all watch parties are in Zoom.

  • Install or update the Zoom desktop app.
  • Join a quick test meeting to check your mic, speakers, and camera.

If Zoom gives you trouble:

  • Quit other video apps (Teams, Meet) and re-open Zoom.
  • On work laptops, security settings can block Zoom. Try a personal device or ask IT to allow Zoom.
